  1. Learning Modules that make up Job Shop 360Each of the six learning modules is composed of a video presentation on a specific job shop business process step:
    1. Orientation and Key Concepts
    2. How To Cut Lead Time
    3. Managing with Data
    4. Securing Business
    5. Capacity Management and Scheduling
    6. Pre-production and Production

    The purpose of the video is to provide a virtual consulting visit to your shop.  Related articles that provide additional detail not covered in the video are included.  The expectation is that these articles will be studied by the key people, the team, involved in upping your game with JS360.

     

    Each module contains a significant amount of material.  One viewing may not be enough.  One approach might be for the team to view the video until the end, and then go back to the beginning and look at it one piece at a time.  There should be discussion about how the actionables presented in the videos can be utilized in your company.

     

    The articles should be downloaded at the same time as the video and then copied to team members individually.  There is no particular reading order, but it is important to read everything. People should talk to each other about what they are reading.

    “Team” is a term that’s thrown around a lot in the business world, but what does it really mean to be a team?  I think you will find that working together in the context of JS360 will make your team better.
